Board index explained
A board index lists all the posts (messages) on the board.
The link to the subject takes you to the start of a topic. The name link shows you the profile of the member who started the topic or made the last post, and the date link takes you to the newest post in the topic.
The information and links at the top helps you find you way back to the forum index and shows you who's viewing the board right now (in the last 15 minutes).
The buttons or text links let you do useful things: (1) mark all new posts as read (2) set up an email notification for new posts on the board, and (3) start a new topic. Some members may have different or additional options.
Starting a new topic
To start a new topic, use the New Topic link.
Some boards are read-only and you will not be able to start new topics.
