Women's equality - holding local and national government to account

This is a free training and consultation event for women's organisations in the South West. It will look at holding national and local government to account on women’s human rights and how to use international and UK legislation as a lobbying tool to influence policy.

The training will raise awareness about UN Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the obligations of the Government to report to the UN on how CEDAW has been implemented in the UK. To find out more about the event and to book a place go to:
