A last-minute reminder to all who would be interested in joining the latest in the European series of NAM/AVAC joint Webinars (phone talks with slides) tomorrow. This one is on rectal microbicides, with a particular focus on the European contribution to this field and how this might be optimised.
Speakers are

• Ian McGowan, well known as a rectal microbicide researcher;
  Carolina Herrera, who is part of the European microbicides consortium, CHAARM;
  Alex Carballo-Diéguez, a prominent social scientist who has done a lot of work on microbicide acceptability and usage;
  Marc-André leBlanc from IRMA on rectal microbicide advocacy.

The webinar is at 14:00 BST, 15:00 CET, 9am East coast US time and lasts for 90 minutes.

Meeting Description:

The seventh webinar in our series addressing a range of topics in HIV prevention research, hosted jointly by NAM and AVAC, will focus on rectal microbicides.
