Title: Hep C Patient Conference sponsored by Hep C Trust, 3 August
Post by: Ben Collins on July 16 2015, 08:31 am
Please help spread the word with your colleagues and friends: http://www.hepctrust.org.uk/patient-conference-2015

To quote a Hep C Trust staff person: "You may already be aware that there have recently been significant changes within the Hepatitis C field, there is a cure, however, it has recently been decided that this new cure will not be available for everyone affected. As a result we are very keen to become more active in the activism/campaigning forum, the decision that only a selected group can have access to the treatment due to affordability is appalling and an inequality in access to health rights."

Thanks for this Ben. I've sent off my registration form - but I don't fit the criteria for having/had HepC, or for being a HepC carer. I'll see what they say.

Hello Roy,
I asked them about that. They said they'll keep a priority for people living with HCV but welcome others if there's room.
