HIV negative volunteers wanted for Royal Free Hospital research project investigating respiratory illness
The respiratory and HIV teams at the Royal Free Hospital are conducting a research study evaluating respiratory illnesses in people with and without HIV to try and find out whether respiratory illnesses are still more severe or more frequent now that people living with HIV have access to antiretroviral therapy.

The study team is looking for volunteers to participate in the HIV negative control group. The study involves visiting the Royal Free for some baseline tests including a lung function test and some blood tests, and then being followed up for 12 months, during which time the study team would like to know about any new respiratory illnesses.

If you might be interested in participating in this study please contact the study team directly by email on or by phone on 07468 934026.

Thanks, Memory
