Title: HIV Communications Attitudinal Research summary report Post by: kevinkelleher on May 22 2010, 11:16 am This research was carried out to explore men who have sex with men's (MSM) attitudes and beliefs on HIV materials and the underpinning messages as a means of influencing or challenging sexual behaviour amongst (MSM) in terms of:
raising awareness of HIV status reducing (or eliminating) frequency of unprotected anal intercourse encouraging HIV testing and re-testing promoting regular/six monthly sexual health check ups. This research has informed a campaign and resources which support the implementation of Action 8 of the HIV Action Plan (2009-2014).
