Proposal to replace DLA with Personal Independence Payment

Many of us that work with HIV/AIDS peers will no doubt be faced with the "what is happening?" scenario.  Please encourage people to make a submission to the current consultation that proposes not only tougher qualifying criteria but a complete change of the benefit to a "Personal Independence Payment" from Disability Living Allowance.

Thanks for this. I am publicising to fellow patients at my clinic - hopefully other clinic-based advocates are doing so as well?

Thanks Paul. We need to really encourage people to submit responses and where that is not possible garner "testimonials" from people to support some of the questions.
