Lansley burying good news?
Posted on: March 20 2011, 07:28 am

As an NHS employee I am a little constrained in what I can publicly/accountably do regarding emerging government policy toward the NHS, so would anyone like to do a favour and submit a Freedom of Information request to Dept. of Health for the full set of responses to the Ipsos MORI poll conducted last Autumn (2010) into public perceptions of the NHS?

According to The Guardian website http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2011/mar/19/nhs-andrew-lansley-healthcare-reform?CMP=twt_fd "The Observer has learned that the polling organisation Ipsos MORI submitted the results last autumn to the Department of Health for inclusion in a government survey of public perceptions of the NHS. The data, commissioned by the department, shows that more members of the public than ever believe the NHS is doing a good job a finding contrary to health secretary Lansley's insistence that it is falling short and needs urgent change."
