This letter from Jim Easton, National Director for Improvement and Efficiency invites NHS trusts to consider joining the Product Pricing Project to find out how the prices they are paying for a sample of clinical products compares with other trusts participating in the project. In addition, NHS chief executives are also invited to join a workshop with the Department of Health to gain practical examples of how they can save money through improved procurement and input into the national procurement strategy.
