Hardest Hit march on Parliament - 11 May
Posted on: April 21 2011, 11:23 am

NAT and THT would like to encourage people living with HIV, their colleagues and friends to join us at the Hardest Hit march against cuts to disability benefits on 11 May.

The Hardest Hit campaign (www.hardesthit.org.uk) is coordinated by the United Kingdom Disabled People’s Council and the Disability Benefits Consortium, and supported by NAT & THT.

The details of the event are:

11.30am- 1.30pm: March on Parliament
Join thousands of disabled people, their friends and supporters in marching past Parliament. Help NAT & THT bring together a large and vocal group marching on behalf of people living with HIV!

1.30- 5.00pm: Lobby your MP
Make sure your MP understands how the Welfare Reform Bill will affect you and other people living with HIV.

What you can do:

• Register at http://www.hardesthit.org.uk/ and email policyandcampaigns@nat.org.uk so we can march together
• Write to your MP and request a meeting at the lobby
• Tell your networks, colleagues and friends!

You can download a flyer about the event here: http://www.nat.org.uk/Media%20library/Files/Policy/2011/NAT_THT_HardestHitCampaignFlyer_revised-5.pdf

Please do promote this event with your networks.
