COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
£27,945-£28,780 + pension
(South & East of England, London-based)

The UKís national TB charity is seeking a Community Development Officer with high-level skills in community-based health promotion programmes.  You must be highly motivated, well organised, flexible, adaptable with at least four years experience in developing and implementing cross-sector health promotion activities involving statutory and third sector agencies.

TB Alert is the Department of Healthís lead partner in raising awareness of TB and tackling the social and structural barriers that people face in accessing treatment, information and support. You will be responsible for working with third sector organisations to integrate TB issues into their work, and fostering partnerships between third sector and statutory health and public health agencies.

You will be based in London (at our partner agency Naz Project London, Hammersmith) working closely with TB Alertís team at its main Brighton office and your colleague Community Development Officer (North & Midlands) based in Manchester.
