E-forum on the development of a tool for individual women living with HIV...
Posted on: June 11 2013, 09:52 am

Dear Colleagues,

The International Community of Women Living with HIV (ICW), the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) and the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition are partnering on an initiative to support broader engagement and consultation with communities around prevention of vertical transmission. We have developed an e-forum on the four4women website in order gain input from, you, the community of women living with HIV, on important topics in HIV policy and programs. We hope that you will contribute to the e-forum so that voices from many community members will be included and reflected in our ongoing work.

Over the next two months, we will be running 4 topics on the e-forum for 2 weeks each.

The first topic, running from June 11-26, will be to support the development of a tool for individual women living with HIV on treatment, care and support in the context of vertical transmission. This tool will be included in the IATT Toolkit on Option B/B+ and will ideally be distributed to women at the clinic-level.

Following treatment literacy, the e-forum topics are as follows:
Young women/adolescents and Option B+
Stigma and care providers
Quality of family planning services

How can you take part? There are two ways to contribute to the discussion:
