21 hours per week
Fixed contract from date of employment to July 2016

Salary : NJC scales SCP 26-31 £22,221 - £26,276 pro rata (based on full time 35 hour week)

Based in Manchester

George House Trust, the Manchester based HIV support organisation, is currently looking to recruit a hard-working, motivated and enthusiastic person as a Services Adviser to work 21 hours per week.

Working as part of the services team, you will deliver high quality one to one support, advice and information to people living with HIV and contribute to the development of responsive and relevant services.
You will need a good understanding of HIV and an awareness of current issues related to it. You must have robust experience of working with people with complex needs, for example relating to sexuality, asylum and immigration, HIV status, housing, mental health, drugs and alcohol, disabilities or health issues.
A confident advocate, you must also be committed to tackling stigma and discrimination.
