Would you like to learn to swim? Improve your technique or and learn a new stroke? If the answer is YES then the HIV Swimming Programme would like to hear from you.
There are a limited number of places available in each group, so get in touch now.
Programme Information: 14 FREE one-hour lessons.
Lessons are held at a pools in central London’s W1 area.
8pm every Friday, Beginners B, Improvers, Advanced, 5pm Saturday, Beginners A and Advanced.
People with HIV that have a sensory of physical disability are particularly welcome.
Regrettably we cannot provide Crèche facilities
Participation criteria: The programme is open to anyone that is living with HIV over 18yrs.
Participants need to be referred by one of our referral pathways.
Participants agree to take part in the programmes surveys and evaluation procedures.
Participants understand that the National Lottery reserve the right to visit the activity.

We also need to know your swimming ability? Beginner A= you can NOT swim and are scared of water.
Beginners B = you can swim 10 meters and not afraid of deep water.
Improver = you can swim 50 meters of two strokes.
Advanced = you can swim- 200 meters front crawl - 50 back stroke - 50 breast stroke.
