Personal Independence Payment (PIP) – Disability Benefits Consortium Survey
Posted on: July 1 2014, 01:20 pm

The Disability Benefits Consortium (DBC) has launched a survey exploring disabled people’s experiences of applying for and getting Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

The aim is to gather evidence of how the process is working and what changes are needed.

The survey is available here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DBC_PIP_survey

The DBC is also today launching their 'Big Benefits Survey'.

This survey is run every year and is the key source of quantitative evidence about claimant experience submitted to the Independent Review on the WCA (and for the first time this year, the Independent Review on PIP).

Around 100 people with HIV complete the survey most years and this data is invaluable for campaigning.

The Big Benefits Survey will run until August 3.  There is also a version for Welfare Rights Advisors.
