Londoners sought to be part of a new scrutiny panel
Posted on: July 14 2014, 09:10 am

NHS England London Region is currently recruiting a chair and up to 11 members to sit on a new London-wide group London Patients Voice.

The London Patients Voice (LPV) is a stand-alone independent patient and public scrutiny function that will hold NHS England London Region to account for how it meets its statutory participation and engagement obligations for commissioning. LPV was developed at a co-design day with patients, public and voluntary sector participants in December 2013.

Applicants for either the position of chair or member will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a patient focus in the commissioning of health services for London; as well as a good understanding of the legal framework and relevant guidance relating to patient and public involvement in health.
