Back in 2010 Positively UK produced a report entitled Access All Areas that looked at how GPs were meeting the needs of people living with HIV.
We’re in the process of refreshing the report and want to undertake a series of focus groups to understand people perceptions and experiences of accessing care from their GP and whether this has changed any since our initial report over 4 years ago.
As part of this we want to do a group specifically with gay men. We’re looking to run the group on the evening of Thursday 20 November between 6-8 pm. We are looking for 8-10 guys to take part and will pay an honorarium of £20.
For reference we’re also doing focus groups with women, the African community, as well as a mixed group. A report will be issued in early January and sent to all those who take part in the groups as well as posted on our website, in addition we’ll be revising and reissuing our guide to getting the most from your GP.
We will be recording the focus group, but all information will be confidential and if we use quotes from the groups in the final report these will be anonymous.
Can anyone who is interested in attending the group please drop me an email
