Dear All,

Please see below links to articles on  PROUD study presented at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, in Seattle on the 24th February:

Ibase :
PreP reduced HIV risk by at least 86% in PROUD: no transmissions likely from people taking meds http://i-base.info/htb/27819

Aidsmap:
Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) stops 86% of HIV infections in PROUD study  http://www.aidsmap.com/Pre-exposure-prophylaxis-PrEP-stops-86-of-HIV-infections-in-PROUD-study/page/2947319/

I also attach the MRC press release, a copy of the slides presented at CROI and an info-graphic which were shared with me by Mitzy Gafos at the MRC.

Further to Silvia's email, here's some info from EATG:

Dear all,

Please find attached the HIV PreP manifesto signed by 81 European NGOs and concerned actors which has just been published.

We decided to wait until the publication of the results of the PROUD and IPERGAY studies. Thank you for your patience and your support in reaching out to colleagues at national level. This will be followed up upon!

Also, EATG and AIDES issued a press release (French, English, Spanish and German): -  see attached or at http://www.eatg.org/news/eatgnews/; www.aides.org. Feel free to adapt to local context if that is of use.

All the best, Ann Isabelle
