The Section of Women’s Mental Health at King’s College London invites you to a free seminar to share the findings of PROTECT – a programme of research, using innovative methodologies, on the health needs of victims of human trafficking and how health professionals can respond. A discussion of the findings will be followed by a brief overview of the Section’s other research programmes and a drinks reception.
 
Our speakers include:
·         Dr  Melanie Abas, Reader in Global Mental Health, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, KCL;
·         Prof Sarah Byford, Professor of Health Economics, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, KCL;
·         Prof Debra Bick, Professor of Evidence Based Midwifery Practice, Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, KCL;
·         Dr Rebecca French, Senior Lecturer of Sexual and Reproductive Health, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine;
·         Prof Louise M Howard, Professor of Women’s Mental Health, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, KCL;
·         Dr Siân Oram, Lecturer in Women’s Mental Health, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, KCL;
·         Prof Nicky Stanley, Professor of Social Work, University of Central Lancashire.
