Clinical trials show that mindfulness meditation can be as effective as prescription painkillers & also enhances the body's natural healing systems. Mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion and insomnia that can arise from chronic pain & illness.
The course is led by Karen Hall, an accredited Breathworks Mindfulness trainer, & offers self-management mindfulness-based strategies for people living with HIV & persistent pain, ill health & / or stress.
Starting on
Wednesday April 6th 2016, the course runs for
8 weeks from 10.30 am to 1pm on the following dates:
April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
