Dear All
After much drafting, input and editing the National Standards of HIV Peer Support are today being put out to consultation. Over the past few months we have consulted with groups in London and Liverpool, the CHIVA Youth Committee – who are delighted to have a standard specifically for young people – and individuals representing people living with HIV, clinicians, researchers and NGO leads.
The consultation will run for one month from today to Monday 12 September. This will be available online via the Positively UK website, a community consultation event in London on the evening of 7 September and will be supporting other groups who want to hold consultation events.

Thanks to the Working Group and our consultant Elisabeth Crafer in getting us this far.
Please can I encourage you to both provide input into the Standards if you have not already done so and promote the consultation to encourage as many people as possible to engage and shape the standards.
