Terrence Higgins Trust is developing a new outreach service in Bedfordshire, targeted at high risk groups in order to promote good sexual health and reduce the transmission of HIV. We are looking for vibrant, enthusiastic and innovative people to join our team
There are two part-time Community Health Engagement Officer posts we are recruiting to, who will deliver targeted behaviour change interventions with men who have sex with men (MSM) communities, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, sex workers and other high risk groups. Service delivery will be through outreach, online, one-to-one and group work interventions, utilising community engagement to raise awareness about HIV and sexual health and tailor services to the needs of different groups. Crucial to this role will be a good knowledge of the needs of various high risk groups, experience of providing sexual health promotion services and excellent interpersonal skills to create and maintain relationships with partner agencies.
