Focus group for people with cognitive impairment and/or their carers
Posted on: March 20 2017, 04:35 pm

Are you living with HIV and a diagnosed cognitive impairment?
Are you caring for someone with cognitive impairment, such as HIV related dementia?

If so,  what are the problems you face regularly?
what support do you receive from your clinic/GP?
what support do you receive from other services?

The Alzheimer's Society and Terrence Higgins Trust are interested in finding out more about the experience of living with HIV and cognitive impairment and HIV related dementia in the UK.  We recognise that many people may be cared for by partners and loved ones, who often feel isolated and unsupported by services.  We want to ensure their voices are heard too.

We are looking at the feasibility of running a focus group to explore these issues further and establish what information and support services might be helpful for carers and the people they care for.

If you would like to share your experience and/or take part in a focus group in the near future, please contact
Clive.Blowes@tht.org.uk  or call 020 7812 1778.

Many thanks
