Please see below invitation for SWIFT members.

Event details:
SAVE THE DATE - FRIDAY 14th SEPTEMBER, 1-5.30pm.

We would like to invite Swift members and women living with HIV to a symposium with Q&A:

'Living well with HIV and getting involved in HIV Research'

A panel including community reps, HIV doctors, and HIV researchers will respond/speak to
questions from the community presented on a range of topics with the aim of actively engaging the community in HIV research - and we really hope you can attend.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided and the venue, which will be in London, will be confirmed once you email me to express interest.

About SWIFT
SWIFT (Supporting   Women with HIV Information Network) is a UK and Ireland-based ‘knowledge network’ bringing together healthcare providers, researchers, activists and advocates interested in research on HIV and women.

Our aims are to:
•   highlight work done in this area
•   foster collaboration
•   address current knowledge gaps

We hope that this network will lead to work that improves the health and wellbeing of women living with HIV, empowering women in the management of their own health.

We encourage those who are not SWIFT members but would like to attend the event, to join our membership. The process is easy. Please email Margot Uden at: margot.uden@gmail.com
Expressing your interest to join the membership as well as to attend the event.

Travel will be reimbursed to a limited number of women living with HIV who live outside London and who would like to attend. This will be on a first come first served basis as funds available for travel re limited.
