Peer led Long Term Diagnosed support group in London
Posted on: October 4 2018, 05:08 pm

Just a quick note to let you know that the ‘Before 96’ peer support group for long term diagnosed with HIV will be meeting monthly on the following dates. The meetings will all be from 2pm to 4pm and will take place at the Terrence Higgins Trust offices at Kings Cross (unless otherwise stated).

Tuesday 9th October:                Primarily social event to build understanding of each other and share our experiences
Wednesday 7th November :      Resilience and building strength from our own experience, based on a social model of HIV.
Tuesday 4th December:             A chance to celebrate the festive season & perhaps to reflect on World AIDS Day
Tuesday 15th January 2019:     Bringing in the new year with a social event at a central London venues.  6 - 8pm Wednesday 13th February:       To be decided – perhaps something around treatment and medication?
Tuesday 12th March                  To be decided – perhaps something around looking after our mental health?

It would be great if you could share these dates with your networks.  We’ve had a great response from people from many different organisations for which I would like to thank you all.

Kind regards
