Peer led group for Long Term Diagnosed in London
Posted on: November 20 2018, 12:53 pm

Just a quick note to let you know that the ‘Before 96’ peer support group for long term diagnosed with HIV will be meeting monthly on the following dates.  The group is primarily for people who were diagnosed before or around 1996, when effective treatment started to be introduced, but all are welcome.

The meetings will all be from 2pm to 4pm and will take place at the Terrence Higgins Trust offices at Kings Cross (unless otherwise stated).

Tuesday 4th December:
Reflecting on 25 years since the film 'Philadelphia' and 30 years of World AIDS Day, plus some festive food

Tuesday 15th January 2019:
Bringing in the new year with a social event at a central London venue 6 - 8pm

Wednesday 13th February:
Looking after our mental health with Dr Caroline Coffey ((Lead Clinical Psychologist in HIV and Sexual Health, Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust)

Tuesday 12th March:
Navigating the benefits maze with Cliff D'Souza (Advice Worker, Terrence Higgins Trust)

It would be great if you could share these dates or the attached flyer with your networks.  We’ve had a great response from people from many different organisations for which I would like to thank you all.

Kind regards
