You need your username and password to sign in.
Retrieving your username
Please contact the office and we’ll tell you what it is. We can also email it to you.
If your username is difficult to recall, we can change it.
Retrieving your password
If you set up a reminder question you can answer the question and choose a new password. You will need to enter your email address or username.
Alternatively, contact the office and we’ll reset your password.
Choose a password you will remember
- If you have a Hotmail, Yahoo! or Gmail account, use the same password
- If you have a password for logging on to your computer, make it the same as this
- If you have a password you use for other things on the Internet, use this
The only rules are: (1) passwords must be at least 4 characters (2) passwords must not be your email address.
Share a password
If you have 2 or 3 UK-CAB members in your organisation, why not use the same password? Then you can ask a colleague.
Pen, paper, desk
Write your password and username down and put it in your drawer or diary.
This is generally not recommended, but the UK-CAB message boards are a working tool, not internet banking!
The computer remembers
When you sign in, your Internet browser will remember you. You will be signed in automatically next time you visit, unless you sign out.
Do set up a reminder question!
While you are signed in, visited the ‘My details’ section (link at top of the screen), go to ‘Account settings’ (link at right of the screen) and set up your secret question. If you forget your password again, answering this will let you choose a new password and sign in straight away.
If you’re still stuck…
Please do not hesitate to get in touch. we really want you to contribute.
